How they trade Discretionary

Judgment calls informed by quant research; concentrated positions that change size deliberately.

We will flag big moves: positions that get much bigger or smaller than is normal for the fund. More on the difference.

Why follow them

GMO is famous for calling bubbles and for decades of research on quality and valuation. The quality funds show which great businesses they think are still reasonably priced, the value funds show what they think is cheap, and GMOD shows how they are splitting money between the two and bonds.

We publish a manager once we have at least 30 trading days of clean daily data, so the big moves and track record mean something on day one.
